Lankava Unni wool yarn on the cone

Unni is made from 100% Norwegian wool. The yarn is well suited to making warm wool knits and to felting. You can knit slippers, mittens or a purse and felt them in the washing machine.

Washing instructions: Hand wash at 30 °C. Soak the knitting for about 10 minutes, then rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water. Gently squeeze the excess water out. Gently shape the item into its desired dimensions and lay flat to dry.

Making felted products with Unni: When felting a piece of knitting in the washing machine, it will shrink 18-20%. Wash the item at 30-60 °C, depending on how much you want it to felt. If the product has not felted enough after the first wash, you can wash it again. Shape the item into desired dimensions while it’s wet.
