Free Pattern: Knit Stitch Basket

The beautiful, knitted look of the Knit Stitch Basket is achieved by crocheting knit stitches around the plywood base. Crocheted from thick Paulina chunky twine, the basket is very sturdy around the edges and the plywood base makes it suitable for a wide range of uses.

Design: Lankava, Mirka Korpela.
Size: 26 x 17 cm (diameter x height).
Yarn: Lankava Paulina Chunky Twine (80 % recycled cotton, 20 % polyester, 1 kg = 170 – 180 m) 800 g petrol (80), lavender (85), yellow (57) or chalk pink (89).
Other supplies: Round plywood basket base 25 cm (57 holes) and removable stich marker.
Crochet hook: 4 mm and 8 mm, or size to obtain gauge.
Gauge: 7 ns ja 8 krs = 10 cm.
